Craft Furniture Pro - production of cabinet furniture
The furniture manufacturer worked with individual orders: measurement, design, specification, material procurement, production, delivery, installation and reclamation, and had to link sales, shop, supply and assembly teams into one controlled stream.
The starting point
Managers promised customers deadlines, but they didn't always see the workload and the materials, and the production received specifications in different versions, and the installation learned about the transfers after the client had clarified.
The manager saw the problem as a fact: the client asked for status, the material didn't show up, the shop was overloaded or the crew wasn't ready to be installed.
What had to be decided
- Link the application, measurement, specification, materials, production, delivery and installation.
- Make visible the loading of the workshop and installation crews.
- Remove discrepancies in specifications and client changes.
- Give the manager a list of orders with the risk of postponement.
